The Cheese Tequeño (Tequeños venezolanos de queso) is white cheese wrapped in pu pastry dough baked or fried to golden perfection. Excellent companion for breakfast, served as a snack or for any time of the day!
INGREDIENTS
CRUST
Flour (bleached wheat flour, vital wheat gluten, enzyme, niacin, reduced iron, potassium bromate, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid, ascorbic acid), water, margarine (liquid and partially hydrogenated soybean oil, water, salt, soy lecithin, vegetable mono and diglycerides, sodium benzoate [preservative], citric acid, natural and artificial flavor, beta carotene [color], vitamin A palmitate added), Soybean oil (soybean oil with TBHQ and citric added to help protect flavor, dimethylpolysiloxane an antifoaming agent added), Sugar, Eggs, Salt, Yeast (saccharomyces serevisiae,sorbitol monoestearate, ascorbic acid.
FILLING
White cheese (pasteurized milk, salt, calcium chloride, and enzymes).
BAKING INSTRUCTION

BAKED: Keep frozen until ready to cook. Pre-heat oven to 450°F and bake between 8-10 minutes or until it reaches an internal termperature of 185ºF or above.

RAW: Keep frozen until ready to cook. Pre-heat oil to 350°F. Coat with egg before baking. Cook for a minimum of 6 minutes or until reach 185ºF.
