ARGENTINIAN HAM AND CHEESE EMPANADA
The Argentinian Empanada is a half-moon shaped flour dough stuffed with meat, green onions, and hard-boiled eggs. It is a perfect companion for a hearty breakfast, as a snack, or to enjoy at any time of the day.
INGREDIENTS
CRUST
Empanada disc (Wheat flour, Water, Margarine [palm oil, water, soybean oil, Salt, Mono and Di-glycerides, Artificial Butter Flavor, Vitamin A Palmitate Added], Salt, Calcium Propionate [preservative], Dough Conditioner [Wheat flour, Salt, Soybean Oil, L-Cysteine, Ascorbic Acid, Enzymes]).
FILLING
Ham with water added (pork, dextrose, water, salt, contains 2% or less of: potassium lactate, sodium phosphates, sodium diacetate, sodium erythorbate, sodium nitrite); Low-Moisture Mozzarella Cheese ([Cultured Pasteurized Milk, Salt and Enzymes], Powdered Cellulose [anti-caking agent] and Natamycin [a Natural Mold Inhibitor]; Parmesan Cheese (Pasteurized Part-Skim Milk, Cheese Cultures, Salt, Enzymes and Powdered Cellulose [anti-caking agent]); Liquid eggs (whole eggs, citric acid [to preserve color], 0.15% water added as a carrier for citric acid).
BAKING INSTRUCTION

BAKED: Defrost completely the day before (cooler temperature), preheat oven to 450°. Egg wash and bake between 8-10 minutes, or till it reaches an internal temperature 160°. *Please note that time may vary depending on the type of oven, when quality of product is reached please record your final time and temperature for further use in your operations.

RAW: Thaw before baking. Pre-heat oven 450°F. Egg wash. bake for 17 minutes or until reach 160°F.
